4. Underarm and bikini line e

pilation

Use tests monitored by dermatol-

ogists have revealed that you can

also epilate the underarm and

the bikini line. Please be aware

that these areas are particularly

sensitive to pain. With repeated

usage the pain sensation will

diminish.

Before epilating, thoroughly clean

the respective area to remove

residue (like deodorant). Then

carefully dab dry with a towel.

When epilating the underarm,

keep your arm raised up and guide

the appliance in different direc-

tions.

Cleaning the epilation head

5. After epilating, unplug the ap-

pliance and clean the epilation

head.

6. Thoroughly clean the tweezer

element with the cleaning brush

and also with cleaning fluid

(e.g. alcohol). While cleaning,

you can turn the tweezer element

manually. To remove the epilation

head, press the release buttons

on the left and right and pull it off.

7. Give the top of the housing a

quick clean with the brush. Place

the epilation head back on the

housing.

B Shaving

1. Remove the OptiTrim

attach-

ment. Put on the shaver head

by clicking it in (the long hair trim-

mer should be in front).

2. When using the shaver head,

always slide the switch up to

setting «2».

3. For best results, guide the shaving

system in a way that about half of

the shaving foil and the long hair

trimmer are in contact with your

skin. Always guide the appliance

in the direction of the trimmer.

The trimmer first raises all long

hairs and cuts them off. Then the

flexible foil follows to smooth

away any stubble.

4. If you choose to pre-cut your hair

to the ideal length for epilation,

place the OptiTrim attachment

onto the shaver head.

5. Hold the appliance with the

OptiTrim attachment ensuring

that the surface of the comb is

lying flat on the skin. Guide the

appliance with the comb tips

against the hair growth as shown

in illustration (B 5).

N.B. As hair does not always

grow in the same direction it may

be difficult to cut. In which case,

guide the appliance slightly dia-

gonally or in different directions.

6. After shaving, unplug the appli-

ance and, if necessary, remove

the OptiTrim attachment.
